Rhabdomyolysis following Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccination; two case reports from Iran

Defined as the destruction of skeletal muscle wall and release cellular contents into bloodstream, rhabdomyolysis has been reported a complication for some forms vaccines. On other hand, COVID-19 pandemic led to extensive production use several vaccines against SARS-CoV-2, meanwhile, side effects these are gradually being reported. Up now, few cases due vaccination have in studies. The present study intended report two with Oxford/AstraZeneca patients were men aged 70 75 years old who presented healthcare facility weakness, myalgia, nausea, vomiting about ten days after receiving their first dose vaccine. Patients had elevated levels creatine phosphokinase (CPK), which 5540 IU/L 18760 patients, respectively.
